Dr. Sandra Lara brings healthier smiles to all of her patients through her focus on high-quality patient care and education.

She began her career as a Dentist in 1990 after graduating from the University El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia. She then furthered her education by completing two years of training in Endodontics at the Autonoma University of Guadalajara in Mexico and became a specialist in Endodontics in 1994.

After several years of providing and teaching dentistry in her country, she relocated and obtained a Dental License in California in 2010. She practiced as an associate dentist until she opened up her own Silicon Valley practice in the beautiful city of San Jose where she enjoys the pleasant weather doing outdoor activities with her husband.

Dr. Lara has continued her dental education in different fields of dentistry at the University of California Los Angeles, University of Southern California, Loma Linda School of Dentistry, University of Pacific, among others. She prides herself on continuing her education and staying current and up to date on all of the latest technology, procedures and protocols for infectious control.
